Information: This author has written many books, and the secondary author, Louis F Rodriguez is a doctor who has written many books about teens and urban youth. This is an informational report, also very relatable. The intended audience is for anyone who is interested in this field, but nobody younger than 16, because of certain vocabulary, and certain discussions. These authors are experts in the field.
Summary: This was basically about how school life is effected by urban youth, and how many people drop out, or stay in, and how well they do depending on where they live. This relates to my thesis because it's about where one comes from mostly. Some main arguments are that the geographical location doesn't matter, and others believe it is very important, in my opinion I think it is important. I don't think that where you come from is the only factor into your future, but I do believe it is important.
Evidence: The author agrees with what I believe for the most part, and to support this, they have given actual information about urban youth, and about schools that have helped people succeed.
Evaluation: Yes, this is very clear and well researched.

Information:Greg Dimitriadis wrote many books including "Theory for Education", "Urban Education", "Youth", etc. He had completed graduate degrees in English, American Studies, and Speech Communication. He is a well respected author who knows a lot about teens, and education. This is intended for anyone who is interested in thie field of study.
Summary: He talks about how important education and culture are to the youth. Based on one's culture, they will have different beliefs. When someone has a certain belief, they feel as if it is important to follow that to the best of their ability. When people are raised with positive influence, then they most likely will be positive, and vise versa with a negative affect.
Evidence: It is clear that he has well researched this topic because he has expierience in the past. He supports his arguements with his knowledge on this topic to further the readers concept.
Evaluation: Yes, very clear and logical.
